Jacob and Carmen

What a blissful and compassionate couple! Jacob and Carmen were married on March 24 at sunset. The weather on their special day was magnificent and they got some gorgeous outdoor photos on our bridge and in front of the chapel. Carmen's mother and sister arranged her bouquets and floral arrangements and they were unbelievable! Some of our favorites that we have seen! They had some lovely personal touches including unity sand, a creative and cute reading, and a fun "I Spy" game for guests at the reception. Here are a few photos we caught throughout the day!

Right after their "first look" on the bridge they took a few formal shots inside the chapel. They were both just beaming and giddy with excitement.

The fantastically fun bridal party!

Those amazing bouquets we were talking about! Look at all the details! Jewels, feathers, burlap, the list goes on and on! We are so impressed Gloria!

Beautiful Carmen. Her joy was so radiant.

The bridal bouquet also incorporated a coin of her grandfather's and her grandmother's wedding band. Such special touches.

 Saying their vows. So sweet.

The couple was escorted to the reception with a tunnel of sparklers!

We are so happy for you Carmen and Jacob! Thank you for sharing your special day with us! God bless you and your newly formed family!

Eric and Whitney

On March 10th the day was perfect. Eric and Whitney were married in front of family and friends and were joined for an intimate reception in The Stables. They had such a special day and the elegance of the wedding did not stop with the decorations. They were a true class act and were so obviously, madly in love. We wish you both nothing but the best in life and we are so thrilled to have been a part of your special day. Congratulations!!

Eric and Whitney hearing a few words from the pastor.

Reciting their vows to each other. Such a "tear jerker" moment!!

The flawless wedding party with the bride and groom right inside The Stables entrance. Such a great photo!

Look at that fabulous cake!

Stunning floral arrangements were accented with burlap and candles.

They did such a neat thing at their reception and had a typewriter for guests to type well wishes and words of wisdom to them. Such a unique idea!

We were absolutely drooling over Whitney's dress! Look at that detail!

The happy couple!

Once again, good luck you two! We are so happy for you both and wish you all the best in life!

Becky and Jon

Becky and Jon were married March 9th and had such a fun and personal wedding. Her mom, Karen, made the cakes (yes, multiple cakes!) and their wedding party seemed so close to them. It was truly a great day to be a part of and we wish them nothing but the best!

Becky getting all zipped up and ready to go! She was so stunning.

The gorgeous (and handsome) wedding party!

The romantic, candle centerpieces were such a beautiful touch and made the room feel so warm and inviting.

The INCREDIBLE cake display baked by Becky's mother! We were so impressed.

Becky and Jon, once again, we wish you both nothing but the best! My God bless your marriage!

Wedding Trends: Wedding Party

We see some very unique and creative ideas at each wedding we host, but some of these have become trends worth sharing. We love when brides try new things to make their day special and we love how sometimes these things become new traditions or trends for other brides to use as well.

Here are a few trends we have seen lately when it comes to wedding parties. From the bridesmaid dresses and accessories, to the way wedding parties are standing (or sitting!) at the front of the chapel, we have seen some neat ideas take shape!

Dress style for each personality:
Something that we have found to be so unique and special is when bridesmaids wear the same color dress, but each have a different style of the dress. One might have a strapless sweetheart neckline, while another might have a one-shouldered top. We have seen skirts the same and top styles varying, or bodices the same and sashes varying. There are so many ways to tie in each lovely friend's personality.

Hand-crafted (with love) bouquet:
We have had the pleasure of meeting and working with some of the most creative and hands on brides. We have had so many talented ladies use silk flowers or other neat objects to create their own bouquets for their wedding party and for themselves. Some have used beads, brooches, ribbons, and so much more to bring to life some FABULOUS hand crafted bouquets that they carry down the isle.
Stunning and so impressive!

Look at the use of those feathers, brooches, crystals, and silk flowers!

Wedding party placement:
Another interesting trend that we have been learning about is how wedding parties are beginning to branch out in the way they are positioned at the front of the chapel for a wedding. Some wedding parties have stood as couples with every groomsmen standing with a bridesmaid and the couples would stand on either side of the bride and groom. Another thing we have seen is a wedding party that walked down the isle in the processional and then were seated in the first or second row and did not have to stand for the duration of the ceremony.

We are loving the new trends we are learning about and seeing take place at the chapel. Each new idea that we see always seems to reflect on the couple in some way and we so enjoy getting to know every couple better by the way they orchestrate their wedding.

We will keep you updated on any new wedding fads that come our way!
