Congratulations to Beth and Chris!

We were blessed once again this weekend to have an amazing wedding at the Chapel. We loved meeting the Jones and Kersten families again and sharing in the joining of Beth and Chris. It was a beautiful ceremony complete with a wagon full of ring bearers marching down the isle before the bride's entrance! The theme was a wonderfully executed "rustic autumn" with touches of gold and bronze mixed in with burnt orange fall leaf decor.

One of the adorable ring bearers carried this cross stitched pillow with the couple's anniversary and names embroidered on it. 

 An antique birdcage was designated for gift cards and letters to the bride and groom while a small chest held the wedding programs. 

 

The two mothers lit the two seperate family candles for the unity candle portion of the ceremony.

The "guest book" was an oversized frame with space to write a short message to the bride and groom.  Another little ring bearer carried this wooden box with the rings enclosed.  

 Beth looked STUNNING posing for pictures before the ceremony with the wedding party. We loved her lace trimmed veil! 

The Stables was decorated with charming fall centerpieces to coordinate with the theme. We loved that each centerpiece was different! 

Another great centerpiece look at one of the tables and the creative exit table with bubbles galore for guests to blow for the couples exit! The bubbles were held by a miniature wagon! 

The new Mr. and Mrs. Kersten enjoyed a dinner of lemon chicken, steak, various vegetables, mashed potatoes, and delicious rolls. 

 The cake was an amazing tree inspired look with the couples initials "carved" into the front! The grooms cake reflected on Chris' love of baseball.

We loved having Chris and Beth's celebration here at Integrity Hills and we wish them all the best! A beautiful couple with a beautiful love story, Congratulations Kerstens! 

Lawing Wedding

Congratulations to the new Mr. and Mrs. Lawing! We were so blessed to be able to celebrate Bradley and Lindsay joining their lives together this Saturday evening. Their love for each other was so refreshing and encouraging and we wish them nothing but the best. 

The couple made their exit in an adorable antique car which coordinated with the black, white, and red theme. How charming! 

The Stables were decorated to the nines with beautiful black and white patterned linens, floating candle centerpieces, and tulle covered twinkle lights wrapped around the columns. 

Lindsay and Bradley enjoy a delicious meal at their head table right next to the cozy fireplace! 

The cake was a gorgeous white fondant with black scrolling and red and white flower topper. There are even some black feathers on the topper as well! 

Family and friends enjoy a beautiful night on the screened porch of The Stables. 

A great personal touch to Lindsay and Bradley's night was the video they played at their reception.

Real Weddings: Lisa and George

I couldn't wait to share with you some of the fun details this great couple put into their wedding.  Lisa and George are from Kansas City, love the rustic charm of The Ozarks, and are kind of "foodies."  They are also a special couple to us at Integrity Hills.  Friends of our family for years, George proposed to Lisa at Integrity Hills and their families spent this past weekend with us, celebrating the newlyweds.

The weekend kicked-off with a bar-b-que rehearsal dinner on the patios of The Villa, complete with a selection of Kansas City sauces.    George gave all the groomsmen fishing poles that evening and on Saturday they embarked on a fishing tournament on Table Rock Lake.

The ceremony was held in the Chapel at 5pm on Saturday, October 1st, followed by a reception in The Stables.  The weather provided a perfect crisp fall evening where the doors could be left open and guests could mingle comfortably both inside and out.  The meal was plated and served, and the couple, not big fans of sweets, cut a "cake" made out of favorite cheeses which were served on a buffet later in the evening.  Guests danced to  a band and completed the night with a snack of milk and cookies.

Playing up the rustic charm of Integrity Hills the couple displayed programs in an old wooden box.

The bride's nephew and nice preceded her down the isle with a "Here Come's the Bride" sign and an antique bucket full of flowers.

KC BBQ sauces for the rehearsal dinner.  We all fell in love with Rufus Teague's sauce, both sweet and spicy.

Guests took snapshots with fun masks for the couple to see later.

An antique-looking guest book filled with scrap pages from old books fit the rustic theme perfectly.

Guests filled out ad libs of well wishes and advice.

Place cards were hand embossed with icons of The Ozarks on one side and a guest's name and table number on the other side.

Spectacular centerpieces in large iron-looking bowls of hydrangeas, artichokes, spray roses and a variety of other smaller flowers for filler.

These custom shepards hooks "chandeliers" framed the room perfectly. The florist used oil tea lights to create a soft glow across the room.

Lis and George danced their "fist dance" as soon as they entered the reception, setting a romantic and celebratory tone for the evening.

Table numbers were written in chalk on small boards.

A large chalk board displayed the night's menu at the entrance of The Stables.

The "Cheese Cake" was actually tiers of the couple's favorite cheeses.

After dinner the cheese was set on a buffet along with crackers, nuts and jams for guests to enjoy.

Even the crackers were romantic.

Who doesn't love milk and cookies just before bed? The evening ended with a variety of cookies (we love the shortbread and chocolate cookies) and individual bottles of Shatto milk.
