Stables Update

Let there be light! We started hanging chandeliers and sconces in the Stables this week.  Here are a few preliminary pics.

Eight heavy iron chandeliers, measuring over 6ft by 5ft, hang over the center of the Stables.

Owner, Rob, stands next to one to show just how tall they really are.  He's over 6ft.

 This is not easy!

Seventy-five (yep, 75!!) double sconces adorn each post and the walls.  Aren't the cute? The iron matches the chandeliers and we've added just a couple crystals to create a rustic, yet elegant, feel.

All lights are on dimmers so we can create the perfect ambiance for receptions and events.  Ah, romance!

Bringing Coastal Colors to an Ozarks Wedding

Couples come from all over to get married at Integrity Hills. For many, Table Rock Lake is a place they grew up vacationing, and for others it's discovering the beautiful Ozarks for the first time and choosing to have a destination wedding.   This year we have a few weddings with coastal couples -- the brides and grooms live in California and Florida.  They're excited to show their friends and family what The Ozarks is all about, but they also want their home states represented in their wedding.  Here are a few ideas we think would blend the coasts with The Ozarks, creating a coastal-rustic wedding.

Coastal Colors
When you think Florida you think blue ocean, blue sky and white beaches, while California is more often represented by bright colors like orange, yellow and pink. These colors find their way into coastal weddings more often than not, and it's a great way to bring a bit of those home states to an Ozarks wedding.

Blue Ocean Florida:
Blues can be a variety from Tiffany to Teal.
Mix various shades with bright whites or a dusty sand color for a Florida feel.

Bright, Sunny California
The California state flower is the California Poppy, this sweet petite delicate orange flower.
It may be the perfect inspiration for adding a little west coast to a lake side wedding.
Bright, sunny flowers and lots of them make me think of California.
Combine orange and yellow with cream and green for a fun, yet elegant affair.
Orange Orchid Bouquet
Add a little pink.

Pink Posy Cake
Pink Poppy Bouquet
Pink Bridesmaids Dresses with White Poppy Bouquets

I love this sign.  Nothings wrong with stating the obvious (San Diego - 1,678 Miles) in a cute way.  If the bride and groom are from different places try something like "His Hometown, Her Hometown, Our Home" with names and distance.

Favors
Bring a little something from your home state to give to your guests.

Pistachios from the Santa Barbara Pistachio Company
Live near wine country? A bottle of wine with a personalized label is nice.

Stables Update

We started adding the stone to the front entrance this week.  Pretty soon we'll be able to show you the arched stone entry, which we are very excited about.
