A Wedding So Sweet It Had to be Shared

We had this really great couple get married at Integrity Hills in June, and they had this awesome weekend filled with friends, family, a fun rehearsal dinner party and really sweet reception.  The new mr. and mrs. opted to remain anonymous on our blog but allowed us to share a few photos from their wedding with you.

The Agenda
On Friday evening, families of the bride and groom celebrated the start of a wonderful weekend with with an outdoor rehearsal dinner and cocktail party on the The Villa patio.  Guests enjoyed drinks and panoramic views of the lake and mountains while mingling near the waterfalls and infinity pool.  See photos of the party here.

On Saturday the bride and her attendants had hair and make-up done at The Villa while we prepared for the ceremony and reception.  This bride was smart and handed off all decorating responsibilities, even the candy table, to her florist, Petals in Branson.  The Chapel ceremony was very personal, followed by hors dourves and cocktails back at The Villa patio.  Guests loved relaxing near the pool and lake with drinks while the wedding party finished up photos.  Guests then walked to The Stables where the bride and groom chose to have a plated meal served to their guests while a video of the couple's life together played over the fireplace.  After dinner everyone danced and celebrated the newlyweds.

While the couple took photos around the property, guests enjoyed hors dourves and drinks lakeside.

The chapel was decorated beautifully with big urns of flowers near the cross and hydrangeas on the pews.

The entrance of The Stables was lined with lanterns and candles.

Petals did an extraordinary job decorating The Stables.  Large tree limbs climbed the pillars with lights and the mantel was filled will cylinder vases and pillar candles.

Kids of all ages enjoyed the candy bar and the cakes.

Everyone danced to Galaxy Band from St. Louis, Missouri. This band comes highly recommended. They are awesome!

And our hardworking Chefs and staff put out a wonderful meal.  Menu below.

Real Weddings: Jessica and Brett

I am so eager to share with you the story of Jessica and Brett.  This wonderful couple was married in The Chapel at Integrity Hills on Tuesday evening (yes, we do weekdays weddings for all you wondering).  It was just Jessica, Brett, their two adorable children, and their closest family and friends.  It was a simple, no fuss wedding with the most sincere ceremony and exchange of vows.

Jessica and Brett met five years earlier.  They were married on the five year anniversary of their first date and it's been love ever since.  During those five years they endured loosing close family members, moving, job changes, and all those hiccups life some times brings but when you meet them you see nothing but love between them.  They are fun, energetic and so happy! Nothing is sweeter than seeing a family like theirs come together and we are so excited for them.

Congratulations Brett and Jessica!

This is one seriously happy, giddy-over-each-other couple.

Jessica was a beautiful bride...even though she was a bit frazzled after running an hour late to her own wedding!
No worries Jess! We know those windy Branson roads can easily get anyone lost.
We had everything ready for her when she arrived and the ceremony went smoothly.

The kids weren't too interested in photos.  They'd rather play in the woods.

Brett and their sweet, sweet daughter.

Jessica's bouquet was filled to the max with roses of all shades and sizes.
It also weighed about 20lbs...and that's only a slight exaggeration.

So in love! We love it when our lovebirds get caught kissing by the love bird fountain.

This is How You Do a Rehearsal Dinner!

Our couple this weekend hosted one heck of a rehearsal dinner at The Villa last night.  Since so many of our couples are planning their rehearsal dinners and cocktail hours at The Villa we thought you'd all like to see how this family did it.

A great location...The Villa Patio

A little ambiance...adding lanterns to the patio stairs.

The best serving staff! We love them.

A bit of music.

Add Tables, Chairs, and Centerpieces to the lower deck.

Have a good barbecue (menu below).

And everyone enjoys.

We recommend a great barbecue from our catering staff for rehearsal dinners.  This family chose the menu listed below.

BBQ Pork Ribs
Smoked Half Chickens
Pulled Pork
Corn on the Cob
Baked Beans
Cole Slaw
Potato Salad
Assorted Custard Pies

Real Weddings: Megan and Blake

Megan and Blake may be the two  sweetest people on the planet! The beautiful couple showered us, and their guests, with gracious thank you's throughout their wedding.  All we have to say is, "no, thank you!"  It was so much fun helping Megan and Blake create their ideal wedding.  They also had a lot of help from family and friends.  The amazing centerpieces you see here were designed and created by the couple's family and friends.  The vases were used in two other weddings of friends, the lillies came from one of the guest's garden that morning and everyone pitched in to decorate the tables to black and ivory damask perfection.

The gals who work here couldn't stop oooing and awing over Megan's dress.  The flowing french bustles and candlelight color were stunning.

Congratulations Megan and Blake.  And thank you for letting us be a part of your special day!

Simple and Classic Boutonnieres

Ivory and Purple Bouquests

This sweet flower girl, niece of Megan, created the comic relief.
She was confident and ready to go down the isle...until she saw all the guests.
Then she dropped to her knees and hid her face.  Adorable!

White Hydrangea Pomander Balls Hung from Pews

The Guestbook was a Photo Album from the Couple's Engagement Photos

Homemade and Remarkable Centerpieces

Long branches, fresh cut lilies and hydrangeas filled tall vases.
The vases were placed on ivory and black damask linens.  Small crystals covered the table.

Matching cocktail and cake napkins add a custom detail.

The cake is by Celebrations by Sonja. Beautiful and yummy.

We don't like to see Chapel decorations go to waste.
We brought the pomander balls into the reception and hung them on the chairs at the head tables.
And here's another shot of that gorgeous dress.

Cheers to Megan and Blake!
