Real Weddings: Taryn and Jack

Taryn and Jack put a lot of sweet details into their wedding and reception.  Every element was personalized with their names, monograms, colors and other special touches.  A gift to all who attended was a fireworks show, a surprise from the bride's parents to the couple.  As the couple walked out onto the balcony,  announced as Mr and Mrs to their friends and family, bright colors lit up the sky.  The fireworks were concluded with toasts from friends and guests enjoyed an evening of festivities.

Congratulations Taryn and Jack! Thanks for sharing your special day with us.

This made me laugh...the groomsmen sitting on the little
bench by the lambs.

The bride's colors were gorgeous!

Check out those shoes! We love the fun details brides add to their day.

Here comes the bride. Another sign was carried as they exited
that ready "Happily Ever After..."

The cutest, sweetest little flower girls.

Guests signed a photo mat when they entered the Chapel.

My favorite photo! Their daughter served as flower girl and is adorable.

We Don't Let Rain Spoil A Party

Tonight's couple planned for an outdoor, lakeside rehearsal dinner but when thunderstorms and rain rolled in we turned their lakeside plans into a cozy fireside dinner.  It turned out to be a beautiful event.

Welcome to The Stables, your "indoor with that outdoor feeling" venue.

Creating a warm glow with a raging fire, candles, and sconces.

This dinner gave us an opportunity to try out our new stemless water glasses.

Happy guests, our favorite kind.

Beautiful centerpieces from The Nest in Springfield, MO.

Groomsmen relax in the rocking chairs, watching the storms roll in.

With Ozark storms skies quickly go from clear to this...

The weather wasn't looking too bad this morning, and then just before 11am this happened:

A light rain began falling...

Then heavier rain and storms rolled in...

and within 5 minutes 11am looked like 11pm.

And our "guard dog" Hank went hiding in the bathroom.

Real Weddings: Stephanie and John

The weather wasn't quite what Stephanie, John, and we had hoped for.  Stephanie planned for her Tiffany's themed wedding reception to be on the patio of The Villa but when the weather turned cold and the winds picked up all her vendors teamed together to move the party inside to The Stables.  With a roaring fire in the fireplace guests stayed nice and warm, while everyone danced and toasted the newlyweds.

Stephanie, John, and their happy families.

The happy couple.

Petals in Branson did an amazing job! They hurried to make more
centerpieces, get extra stuff to decorate the mantel and really went out of
their way to make the couple feel like their reception was just as beautiful inside
as it would have been outside.

Warm and cozy with 40 degree temps outside.

Pastries by Carla made these incredible cakes.
A camo cake for him.  Four blue Tiffany boxes for her.

First Reception in The Stables

Here are a few photos from our first wedding reception in The Stables.  We almost can't believe The Stables is finished and we're hosting events.  All the busy workers that were on the property for months have been replaced by brides and guests, and the hard work of everyone is being enjoyed now with many happy celebrations.  Specifically, owner Rob Voss put his heart and soul into this building the same way he did The Chapel and it's awesome to share this blessing with so many people.

The bride chose hydrangeas and ivory roses for her centerpieces.

Here are some of our hardworking staff.

Rob and Nici -- a little silly after a long day's work.

The BEST team!

This Is What Happens When It Rains

After lots of rain and the occasional sunshine we're enjoying some beautiful blooms.  We've never seen The Ozarks so green.

Real Weddings: Michelle Tierfry and Dustin Newman

Michelle and Dustin were married in the Chapel on Saturday, April 30.  After an overcast and rainy day the clouds parted and the sun peaked through just as they were pronounced husband and wife.  Check out this amazing photo taken by Preston's Photography.

The rain stayed away just long enough for Dustin and Michelle to celebrate with their friends and families on the Villa patio.   Our favorite part of their celebration:  the wedding party held up golf clubs for the happy couple to walk under as they made their grand entrance to the reception.  Dustin is a golf pro and general manager of a course.

Congratulations Mr. and Mrs Newman.  And thank you for sharing your special weekend with us.

The Roses are in Full Bloom and Beautiful

Loved the yellow flowers and dresses.

The rain stopped just moments before the reception.
